Born August 31, 1889, Cove, Utah, to James Carson and Betsy Lowe Allen. Married to Walter John Glenn, June 7, 1911, in the Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He died in 1934. Resided in Salt Lake City, Logan, Brigham City, Blue Creek, Utah. Published several songs and a book of poetry.

Survivors: Five sons, two daughters; George A., Craig, Colorado; Darwin W., Anaheim, California; Vernon A., Mrs. Alma G. (Vivian) Peterson and Mrs. Royal Melba (Marie) Hallmark, all of Salt Lake City; Franklin A. and Ariel W., Monterey, California; seven sisters, Lenna Parkinson Long Beach, California; Effie Fryhoover, Compton, Sarah Hendrick, Salt Lake City; Ethel Comish, Linda Mar, California; Elva Wilson, Cathedral City, California; and Ella Bodily, Boise, Idaho.

Funeral was held Saturday June 15th with burial in the Wellsville City Cemetery.
