MRS. DANNER JEFFCOAT
Mrs. Danner Jeffcoat, of Swansea, died Thursday at her home.
Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Saturday in St. Paul's Penecostal Holiness Church in Swansea, conducted by the Rev Jimmy O. Floyd and the Rev. H.W. Brown. Burial was in the churchyard.
Grandsons were pallbearers, they were Charles Jeffcoat, Allen Jeffcoat, Freddie Oral Jeffcoat, Newton Jeffcoat and Bobby Cowan.
Mrs. Jeffcoat, the former Maggie Cartin, was born in Lexington county.
She was an honorary member of St. Paul's Pentecostal Holiness, where she taught Sunday School for a number of years.
Surviving are two sons, Boynton Jeffcoat of Swansea and Otis C. Jeffcoat of West Columbia, 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Thompson Funeral Home was in charge.
