Glenn Riehmann Allen, 87, of Jefferson City, Missouri passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Capital Region Medical Center. He was born on July 6, 1932 in Ballard County, Kentucky; a son of George and Mabel (Elrod) Allen. He was united in marriage to Agnes Cooper, December 15, 1951, in Cornith, Mississippi.

Glenn graduated from Bandana High School in Bandana, Kentucky in 1950, then later attended and received his Bachelors and Masters of Education from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky in 1959. He worked at Riverview High School as a math teacher from 1959 to 1965. He continued in education at the University of Missouri-St. Louis from 1965 to 1998, from where he retired. He was a loving husband and father, who enjoyed spending time with family, crappie fishing and boating. He loved watching UK Basketball and Cardinals Baseball, doing jigsaw puzzles and sudokus.

He is survived by his wife: Agnes of Jefferson City; daughter: Glenna Burkett (Brad) of Jefferson City; brother: Bill Allen of Wickliffe, Kentucky; grandchildren: Jaime Otto (Michael Vordtriede) of St. Peters, Missouri and Brian Burkett (Holly) of Liberty, Missouri; great-grandchildren: Mitchell, Macie, Elizabeth, William, Bailey and Brevan. Glenn is preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Tally and Randy Allen.

Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors with pastor Marc Magana officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
