Betty was born one of seven children to John Arthur McNeil and Mary Eliza Mecham McNeil. Betty moved with her parents and older sister Mary Margie and brother Harold Mecham to Salt Lake City Utah in 1929 during the depression.
Betty met the love of her life William (Bill) Moffat in 1946. They were married on Sept 29 1947 in Elko, Nevada.
Betty is preceded in death by William, her parents, three sisters and a brother.
Survivors include her son James Moffat , two Granddaughters and nieces and nephews.
