Alice was the daughter of John Pruett Taylor & Sarah Ellen Stevens (married 21 Aug. 1853 in Spencer Co. Ky.) She married 1st. Jan. 1898 in Jeffersonville, Clark Co. In., Clarence Hughes, & they had two sons Rual Foster Hughes & Clarence Hughes. Clarence & Alice Hughes resided in Louisville, Jefferson Co. Ky. 1900. After the death of her first husband in 1902, Alice Hughes married 2nd. 18 Jan. 1911 in Nelson Co. Ky., Dee Crowe, & they had children Ernest, John W. & Beulah M. Crowe. Alice Crowe died from TB in 1915.

Note - No marker or tombstone, all info. from her death certificate, the informant was M.F. Crowe of Springfield Ky.
