Per the History of Clark Co, OH, 1881, pg 1069
After marrying they moved to VA, stayed for a few years, went to Pennsylvania [Greene Co, near [Daniel's older sister Jane Jones Buckingham and his cousin Morgan Jones], and about 1812, removed to Hamilton Co., Ohio, settling on the Little Miami River, (other Buckingham family was here) and in 1816 came to Clark Co., (other Buckinghams & Jones were there) and settled in the southern part of Harmony Township, where they remained until death.

Other land and court records show Daniel (starting with 1790) in Whitely township, Greene County, Pennsylvania.

Daniel and Mary had 11 known children, (these are not listed in birth order):

In all of the places that Daniel lived there were other Jones family members and (by marriage) Buckinghams.

Info also shows that Daniel was a Baptist.

It is not know when Daniel's wife Mary died or where she is buried. The 2 other Mary Jones currently shown in this cemetery are not Daniel's wife. Perhaps after Daniel died she moved away to live with one of her 11 children.
