William M. Rea
William M. Rea, 59, of 20 S. Scotland Lane, died at 11:25 a.m. Jan 14. 1978, in St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center in Youngstown after a two-day illness from an apparent heart attack.
He was born in Butler County on Dec. 22, 1918. to the late William C. and Margaret Nelson Rea. He was employed as a Locomotive Engineer by the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad in the Youngstown Yards.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II, and member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Enginemen.
He is survived by his wife, the former June E. Donaldson to whom he had been married 39 years; four daughters. Mrs. Everette (Sylvia) Noe of Round Lake Park. Ill . Mrs. Daniel (Linda) Fee of New Castle. Mrs. Richard (Bonnie) Donley of Coalinga, Calif., and Miss Beth Ann Rea at home, a brother Robert of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and 12 grandchildren He was preceded in death by as sister Mrs. Mildred Wilcox and a brother John.
Friends will be received at the Robert A. Myers Home for Funerals, 208 N. Jefferson St. from 7 to 9 p.m Monday. The service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home conducted by the Rev. Everett Hammond of the Wesley United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
