Olive Missionary Baptist in the Baybro Community burial in Silver Star Cemetery # 2.

Deacon Andrew Allen "Pete" Goff passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, January 25, 2020 at the age of 70 at McLeod-Loris Hospital.

"Pete," as he was affectionately known, was born in Loris, SC to the late Julius and Etherline Johnson-Goff on December 14, 1949. He attended school in Horry County and went on to further his education at Horry­-Georgetown Technical College. He worked in the agriculture industry and later went to work in the manufacturing industry.

Deacon Goff was ordained as a deacon early in his Christian faith. He attended the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as Deacon, sang on the choir, and was an avid Sunday School and Bible study student. He had a great love for animals, especially horses.

Deacon Goff was married to Patricia McNeil-Goff for 45 years. They were blessed with two children, Petrez Goff, who proceeded him in death and Pierre Goff.

He leaves to cherish his memory, a wife, Mrs. Patricia McNeil-Goff; a son, Pierre Goff; a daughter, Avonda Cox; five grandchildren; three brothers, Auto (Ester) Goff of Loris, SC, McKeith (Mary) Goff of Carolina Forest, SC and Troy Goff of Baltimore, MD; three sisters, Ethel Goff, Carolyn Goff, and Angela Goff of Garner, NC. Deacon Goff also leaves two brothers-in-law; Brodell (Francis) McNeil, Jr. of Charleston, SC and Robert (Orrie) McNeil of Surfside, SC; and a sister-in-law, Dorita Chestnut of Conway, SC. He leaves fond memories, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Deacon Andrew "Pete" Goff will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
