Mrs. Polly Adams Miller, age 63 of Jackson, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020, loving wife of 29 years to Everett Miller. Mrs. Miller was born in Douglas, GA to the late John Calvin "Pete" Adams, Sr. and Ella Adams.
Polly loved shopping and was an avid yard sale hunter and GoodWill Shopper. She was famously known in Jackson, GA as "Ms. Polly" and knew people everywhere she went. She loved crafts, and made her own jewelry. Mrs. Miller loved people and spending time with her grandchildren. Ms. Polly was well liked and well loved.
In addition to her husband, Polly is survived by her children: Missi Thigpen (Patrick) of Lyons, GA, James "Jimbo" Jordan (Sarah) of Brunswick, Trish Kirkland (Michael) of Reidsville, Chad Miller of Texas , and Chris Miller of Texas; beloved grandchildren: Calvin III, Brittany, Destiny, Kayla, Dakota, Serenity, Rowan, Kellan, Leland, and Coltyn; siblings: Audrey Farmer of Nahunta, GA, and Randall Adams of Alma, GA ; and furbaby: Chenelle.
She is predeceased by her son: Richard Calvin Thigpen, Jr. (20987943); and siblings: Yvonne Adams Moore and John Calvin Adams, Jr.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 30, 2020 with Pastor Benny Monkas officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park.
