Miss Dooley, 90, died Friday night at Methodist Medical Center after a brief illness.
The native of Leonard, Fannin County, came to Dallas in 1918 and joined the First Baptist Church of Dallas in 1922. She volunteered as an assistant in the church library and as a nurses's assistant at the church's summer day camp for children.
She also was active in missionary work, relatives said.
Miss Dooley retired from her job in the employee benefits department of Southwestern Bell Telephone in Dallas in 1961 and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, relatives said.
She is survived by her sister, Sibyl Flewharty of Dallas.
