His first wife, the former Dorothy Gregory, whom he married in 1936, died July 6, 1974.
He survives his second wife, the former Dorothy White, whom he married in 1979; a son, Herbert of Youngstown; a daughter, Miss Barbara A. of Youngstown; a stepson, Philip Silcott of Pa.; a stepdaughter, Mrs Donna Mace of Poland; two brothers, Arthur and Albert of Girard.
A daughter, Miss Marcia and four sisters, Mrs Esther Kreinbrook, Mrs Alice Crum, Mrs Ella Mae McKelvey and Miss Martha are deceased.
