Obituary--Donald S. Keller

Donald Sylvester, son of John F. and Roxie Keller, was born in Liberty Township, Clarke County, Iowa, March 28th, 1914, and passed away April 30th, 1914, at the same place, age one month and two days.

He leaves to mourn his loss, father, mother, brother and sister, besides many relatives and friends.

We had a little treasure once,
He was our joy and pride.
We loved him Oh, perhaps too well
For soon he slept and d ed.
All is dark within our home
Lonely are our hearts to-day,
FOr the one we so dearly
Has forever passed away;
Those little lips so sweet to kiss
Are closed forever now,
Tis hard to break the tender cord
When love has bound the heart,
Tis hard, so hard, to speak the words
"We must forever part."
Dearest Donald, we lay thee
In the peaceful graves embrace,
But the memory we will cherish
Till we see thy Heavenly face.

Funeral services were held from the Mt. Tabor Church, May 2nd, 1914, conducted by Rev. Knoll. Interment at Mt. Tabor cemetery.
