Those left to cherish her memories are six daughters, Ramona Goolsby and husband Donald Wayne of Granbury, Patricia Ruth Crutcher of Dublin, Janice York of Lamesa, Charlene Ranes of Columbus, Ga., Carolyn Gwin of Lubbock, and Kathy Owens and husband Ken of Lubbock; 25 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; and 35 great great-grandchildren; and one sister, Beatrice Gregory of Tulsa, Okla.
Mrs. York was preceded in death by two sons, Utah Carl York, Sr. and Charles Monroe York; a grandson, Wesley Gwin; great-grandson, Mark Wilson; one son-in-law, Sonny Crutcher on April 8, 2007; and one daughter, Geneva Faye Neal on March 11, 2007. She was also preceded in death by three sisters.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2007, at the First Baptist Church in Lamesa, with Rev. Gerald Parsons officiating and Rev. Clifton Igo assisting. Interment will follow in the Lamesa Memorial Park. Mrs. York will lie in state at the church on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. until service time.
