Mr. Thomas Franklin "Frank" Bailey, 89, of Sumner died Sunday, May 21, 2017 at his residence.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the Sumner Cemetery. The Rev. Mike DeLoach will officiate.
Mr. Bailey was born on July 18, 1927 to the late Marcus Hoyt and Ruby Street Bailey. He had lived in Sumner since 1973. Mr. Bailey was a Veteran having served honorably in the United States Navy and a former Mason. He retired from Railway Express where he worked as a delivery driver and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Mr. Bailey was a member of the Poulan Baptist Church.
Survivors include his sons, Tony Bailey and Tommy Bailey, both of Sumner; grandchildren, Marcus Bailey (Erin), Amanda Pavlus (Brian) and Matthew Bailey (Amber); great-grandchildren, JonMarc Bailey, Hannah Bailey, Samuel Bailey, Noel Bailey, Hayden Pavlus, Kyler Pavlus, Joshua Pavlus, Blake Bailey and Lily Bailey.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bailey was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Souter Bailey on April 9, 2017.
