Services for Shelly D. Cheney Elliott, 25, of Lufkin, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Gipson-Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Bailey officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Shelly was born January 10, 1979, in Lufkin, Texas, and she passed away Saturday, July 24, 2004 in a Galveston hospital.
Shelly was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister. She was also a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include her husband, William Elliott of Lufkin; daughters, Katelyn Breanne Elliott, Jennifer Lynn Elliott and Lindsey Leigh Elliott, all of Lufkin; parents, John and Brenda Cheney of Lufkin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Tammy Brimer Alcock and Ross Alcock of Pollok and Stacy and Billy Attaway of Lufkin; brother and sister-in-law, John and Amy Cheney of Huntington; brothers, Robert Cheney of Pollok and Shannon Cheney of Lufkin; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Robert Rodriguez, Ronnie Flowers, Ross Alcock, Billy Attaway, Danny Redd and Thomas Roberts.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the Gipson-Metcalf Funeral Home in Lufkin.
