C. C. Married Annie Garner on Sep 13, 1888, and made the "Run" at the Cherokee Strip in 1893 settling a claim near Maramec. Published a Christian Newspaper from the homestead. Moved to Stillwater and bought the 1st Ford Agency. Had two other agencies in two nearby towns. Served 4 terms in the Oklahoma State Legislature.
