TIMES RECORD OBITUARY - October 1997, Fort Smith, Arkansas

CENTRAL CITY - Sharon Kaye Lenington, 50, of Central City died Monday, October 6, 1997, in her home. She was an accounting bookkeeper at MacSteel for the past 11 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church and served as hostess in the pastor's class.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 8, 1997, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dale Thompson officiating.

Burial will be at The Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston, Arkansas.

She is survived by two sisters, Peggy Lenington of Central City and Mary Taff of Booneville; and three brothers, Edward and Billy of Central City and Paul of Muskogee, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers will be David, Mark and Donny Lenington, Duane Taff, Ken Roehl and Don McConnaughhay.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Edward Hospice, P.O. Box 17000, Fort Smith, Arkansas, 72917.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Lenington and Pearl Marie (Brisco) Lenington; her brother, Robert Curtis Lenington; her maternal grandparents, Robert W. Brisco and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Hattie (Erasmus) Brisco; and her paternal grandparents, Curtis H. Lenington and Liley A. (Taylor) Lenington.
