Agnes Mae Bailey, age 84, of Tecumseh, passed away May 23, 2019. Mrs. Bailey was born April 2, 1935 in Jackson, Michigan the daughter of Charles O. Dean and Agnes Mae Porter. On July 28, 1984 she married Woody Bailey in Tecumseh and he preceded her in death. Mrs. Bailey resided in Tecumseh for 30 years coming from Cement City. She was a member of the Tecumseh Missionary Baptist Church and liked helping with various church activities. Her enjoyment was baking apple pies, gardening and spending time with her family. Agnes is survived by her sons; Craig E. Swank, Christopher L. (Sherri) Swank and Mark D. (Sue) Swank; daughters Carol (Steve) Cook and Cindy Maloney; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Woody, she was preceded in death by her parents; son, Brian Swank; granddaughter, Sara Parker; 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Funeral Services will be 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Rev. Brian Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery, Brooklyn. Visitation will be at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. Tuesday preceding the service.
