Barbara Ann Wilson Curl, 59, of Mount Pleasant, formerly of Washington, Iowa, died Saturday, July 21, 2007, at her home following a short illness.

Born Nov. 2, 1947, in Washington, she was the daughter of Eugene "Woody" and Mary Humphrey Wilson. She married Richard Curtis Snyder in 1964. She married Mike Curl in 1971.

Mrs. Curl was employed at Casey's General Store and previously worked at Jerry's Pizza and Steakhouse. She had been a resident of Mount Pleasant since 1984.

She attended school in Washington. She loved cats, gardening and corresponding with friends via e-mail. She was very proud of her children and their achievements as well as supportive of the troops serving our country.

She is survived by four children, John Snyder of Valparaiso, Ind., Laura Zinger, who is serving in Iraq, Sandy K. Snyder of Fort Madison, Jody Kelly of McHenry, Ill.; four grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Smith of Crawfordsville and Genie Davis of Washington; and one brother, Jack Wilson of Washington.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter.

Celebration of life services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Jones Eden Funeral Home, with the Rev. Darryl Carr officiating. Burial will be in Oregon Township Cemetery, Ainsworth.
