She was born in Hamilton, OH on July 20th, 1948 to Vivian Coleman Black of Yosemite and the late Lyman Black. She was a farmer. Additional Survivors include Two Sons: Gregg Short of Yosemite and Chad Short of Russell Springs, One Daughter: Rebecca Short of Yosemite, Nine Grandchildren, Four Great-Grandchildren and One Sister: Mona Short of Muncie, IN. Preceding her in death besides her father was one sister: Donna Johnson and two brothers: Wayne and Mike Black. Visitation will be held 6:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. on Sunday June 8th, 2014 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday June 9th, 2014 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Johnny Maupin officiating. Burial will be in the Casey County Memorial Gardens.
