Elizabeth Cressman, "the eldest daughter of Abraham and Mary (Schneider) Cressman, was born near Strasburg [now a part of Kitchener], Ontario, October 4th, 1818. On March 19th, 1839, she was married to Benjamin E. Eby who was born February 10th, 1818, and died July 9th, 1872. They resided near Centreville [now the Chicopee area of Kitchener], about two miles south-east of Berlin where they both died. She died February 23rd, 1889."
