APACHE JUNCTION, Ariz. - Clearfield native Fannie A. Johnston, 80, of Apache Junction, Ariz., died Thursday, May 22, 1997, in Apache Junction, Ariz.

Born June 5, 1916, in clearfield, she was a daughter of Andrew and Essie (Long) McKendrick.

Mrs. Johnston was a retired janitor. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Bagdad, Ariz.

She is survived by two daughters, Margaret Owens of Bagdad and Barbara Burke ofr Apache Junction; two sons, Harold of Round Mountain, Nev. and Robert of Clearfield; 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, four sisters, Charlotte Nelson of Clearfield, Phyllis Foster of Texas, LaRue Long and Evelyn Scanish, both of Apache Junction; and four brothers, Tom, Pat, Ken and Bill McKendrick, all of Clearfield.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Lilian Smith, and five brothers, Clair, Jimmy, Merle Jr., Alvin and Clyde McKendrick.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Apache Junction Mortuary.

There will be no public visitation. -

Interment serveices will be held at Crown Crest Cemetery on May 31 at 11 a.m.
