Our beloved father and grandfather, Delbert Peter Adamson, age 85, passed away May 18, 1998. Born March 12, 1913 in Highland, Utah, to Peter L. and Sarah Blanch Myers Adamson. Married Laura Roundy, January 25, 1932; solemnized June 27, 1934 in the Salt Lake Temple; she preceded him in death. Delbert served in many callings in the LDS Church including Bishop of the Granger 8th Ward for five years and an ordinance worker in the Jordan River Temple for eight years. He had a great love for people. Loved fishing, hunting and camping.Survived by wife, Wanda; daughters, Joy (Scott) Haslam; Barbara (Howard) Spencer, Sandy (Brent) Jones; and Marianne (Richard) Woodbury; sister, Erma Jones; 16 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by daughter, Noma; brother, Leland; sisters, Jerry; Thelma; Effie; and Rae. Funeral service will be held Thursday, May 21, 1998, 11 a.m. at the Bluffdale 4th Ward, 14400 South Redwood Road. Friends may call Wednesday, May 20, 1998, 5-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Thursday at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, American Fork Cemetery.
