James "Jim" Beisner
July 24, 1937 - January 14, 2020

James “Jim” Beisner, 82, of Anna, formerly of Hanna, Wyoming passed away at 8:40 AM, Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at his home.

He was born July 24, 1937 in Ava to William August and Ola Mable (Nelson) Beisner.
He married Helen Riddle on November 13, 1959.

For 23 years, Jim worked for Terminal Railroad in East St. Louis, MO. While in Hanna, WY, he worked for Carbon County Coal. Jim loved riding horses, mowing the lawn, spending time with his family and antique John Deere tractors.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Beisner of Anna; children, J. Jr. (C.) Beisner and S. (T.) Beisner, both of Staunton, Debra (Duane) of Elk Mountain, WY, B. (D.) Beisner of La Plata, MD; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; siblings, Alma of Ava, Billie Ruth (Gordon) of Gorham, R. (G.) Beisner of Havelock, SC, Donna (Ronnie) of DuQuoin, Connie of Campbell Hill, L. Beisner of Anna, D. Beisner of Ava; sisters-in-law, P. Beisner of Anna, B. Beisner of Ava; many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Doris Lunsford and brothers, Bob Beisner and Gary Beisner.

Per Jim’s wishes, there will be no services. Cremation will be accorded. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Ebenezer Memorial Cemetery in Rockwood, Illinois.
