The friends and relatives of Carl Emas are invited to attend his funeral service at the graveside at Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at 11 AM.

Carl was born October 16, 1929, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Max Emas and Minnie Smith Emas. He was a retired marine electrician and industrial electrician, working for Deytens Shipyard and the Charleston Navel Shipyard in Charleston, SC, Philadephia Naval shipyard in Philadelphia, PA and Daniel Construction Company. He is survived by his daughters, Linda Mitchum of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Roberta Vowles and her husband, Bruce, of Redford, NY, son, Bernie Emas of North Charleston, SC, sisters, Gerri Emas and Marian Welsh of New Jersey, grandchildren, Jay Mitchum and his wife, Chandi, of McClellanville, SC, Jamie Doucette and her husband, Wayne, of Fishers Island, NY, and Carla Jones and her husband, Robert, of Corinth, NY, great grandchildren, Jeremy Doucette, Lydia Doucette, Amber Ferguson, Lexi Jones, Robert Jones, Tyler Mitchum and Matthew Mitchum.
