Monsignor Edward Odell Heymer was a priest of the Diocese of Memphis. He was the son of John and Catherine (Rubert) Heymer. Ordained a priest in 1945. Served Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Nashville, Holy Angels Church in Dyersburg, Immaculate Conception Church in Union City, The Church of the Good Shepherd in Winchester, Holy Name Church in Nashville, St. William Church in Millington, and St. Anne Church in Memphis. Administrator of the Holy Rosary Church in 1970. Retired from active duty in 1995.
