Marilyn was born on September 13, 1927, in Claypool, Indiana the daughter of Walter and Elizabeth Blue Bouse. She was a graduate of Claypool High School and worked as a secretary. She married Thomas Ault on November 2, 1947, and they made their life together for 70 years until his death on December 11, 2017. She was a member of United Methodist Church of Bridgeport, IL, an avid gardener and she her husband raised Standardbred racehorses. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Marilyn is survived by a daughter in law, Pam Birkle, grandchildren, Michelle Beard, and her husband Aaron and Stacy Cronkright, and her husband Jason. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Blaine Beard, Ella Beard and Sophia Andres. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Ault, and a son Steven Ault.
