Gladys Lucille Farquharson was born on November 12, 1894 in Mechanicsville, Iowa to James Robertson Farquharson and Emma Jane Shay. She married William Frank Clegg on March 18th, 1912 in La Grande, Oregon. They had 4 children, Helen Emma, Ruth Evelyn, William Frank, and Glen Harold. Little William passed on just 3 months short of his 2nd birthday. Gladys was a maverlous cook and worked as one after her husband passed on in 1952. She always believed that you should be properly dressed and groomed before you went anywhere and she always was. She passed on on July 29th, 1974 at the age of 79 in Utah.
