According to information from another family researcher, Jane Elizabeth's maiden name was Lambeth. The fact that her son's name is Craig on the 1870 census indicates that her first husband's name was Craig.
Jane Elizabeth had three more girls after her marriage to Cader Cox on Febuary 13, 1866. His First wife Edna Bishop Cox had ten children, the youngest less than two years old at the time of her mother's death on January 16 1865. Jane Elizabeth finished rearing these many step-children.
