LEESBURG, VA., March 18 - News has been received here of the death in Linden, Va., of Carroll Winter Walter, 68, following an illness of two weeks of influenza. He was a native of Warren County, Va. For some months he had been serving as telegraph operator for the Washington and Old Dominion Railway at Leesburg. He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Frances Hudnal, Linden, Va.; one son, Kennedy Walter, Flint Hill, Va.
