*Children of Alexander Hindman and Margaret Ann "Peggy" Walker.

James Robert Hindman, 1839 to 1912.

Martha Elizabeth Flowers, 1840 to 1917.

William Alexander Hindman, 1843 to 1930.

Anna Rebecca Keen born Feb 4, 1846, married Rev. John Samson Keen. She died Apr 21, 1907 near Allen, NM. She was a teacher at the Male and Female High School here at one time. She's buried in Texico Cemetery in Curry County, NM.

Mollie Catherine Hindman, Feb 1849 to 1929, married Timothy F Nell. She's buried in the Somerset City Cemetery in Pulaski County. She died at her daughter's house in St. Louis, Missouri, where she had lived for nine years. Esther who married C J Mitchell was her daughter and they lived at 2515 Jule Street. Timothy died in 1911 and also buried in Somerset City Cemetery. He was the son of George Nell and Martha Thurman of Adair County. He was a wagon and carriage maker.

Samuel Perry Hindman born 1850, died young.

Fetna Jane Allen, Oct 25, 1854 to Dec 17, 1903, buried in Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, Alabama. Married Hiram K Allen who died in 1926 and also buried there. She taught school here before moving south.

Charles Morehead Hindman 1859 to 1944.

Clark Hindman born 1863, He just shows up on the 1880 census here. He's 17 at the time. Since the one article here said Charles lived in the old homestead and was the youngest son of Alexander then it sounds like Clark died young. He and Charles were living at home still on the 1880 census.
