Funeral services will be held Saturday December 11, at noon, in the Thayne LDS Stake center. A viewing will be held Friday evening, December 10, from 7-9 p.m. at the Schwab Mortuary in Thayne and Saturday morning from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Thayne stake Center. Interment will be in the Bedford Cemetery.
Morris was born September 28, 1928, to Robert C. and Sylvia Wolfley Heiner. He was the youngest of seven children. Morris married Florence Kelm on June 4, 1959 in Bedford and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.
Morris was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served two years in the Central States Mission. Following his mission he proudly served his country in the Korean War. Morris held many positions within the LDS church-his most cherished were as Bishop of the Bedford ward and First Counselor in the newly organized Thayne stake.
Morris was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Sylvia, and his brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Florence and his children Suzann and Mary Ellen of Logan, and Robert (Nicole) and Rusty (Annette) Heiner of Thayne and 10 grandchildren.
Morris was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and he will be greatly missed.
