Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel with the Rev. Alex T. Washington officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., and a prayer service led by the Rev. Richard Sitzman at 7:30 p.m., at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lamoureux was born March 24, 1927, in Sioux City, the daughter of Charlie and Ellen (Dorrah) Gurnsey. She married Lowell Lamoureux on May 9, 1970, in North Sioux City. She was a lifelong resident of Sioux City. They had wintered in Parker Dam, Calif. ,since 1992.
She was a homemaker. She was an avid bingo player, enjoyed bowling, dancing, playing cards and camping.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ed and Don Gurnsey; a brother-in-law, Rob Lamoureux; and a sister-in-law, Marilyn Lamoureux.
