CRYSTAL SPRINGS - Funeral services for Linn E. Stringer, 92, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from Baldwin Chapel, burial will be in the city cemetery. He died Monday afternoon at a Hazlehurst nursing home after a long illness. A native of Smith County, he has lived in Copiah for many years. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Survivors are his widow: Mrs Katie Stringer; one son, A. Caley Stringer and one daughter, Mrs. Herbert Greer, both of Jackson; one brother, Ernest Stringer, Houston, Texas; and four grandchildren.
