PITTSVILLE -- Blaine A. Cheesman, 10, of Pittsville died Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at A. I. Dupont Hospital for Children. Born in Salisbury, he was the son of Amy L. Disharoon Cheesman of Pittsville and Richard A. Cheesman of Federalsburg. Blaine attended Pittsville Elementary School and played Little League in Willards. He was a John Deere collector, loved Dale Earnhart Jr., and was a true Orioles fan. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Brady Cheesman; his maternal grandmother, Grace Disharoon; aunts and uncles, Donna and Everett LeCates, Sherrie and David Howard, Marty and April Chees-man and Terry and Lisa Chees-man; eight cousins, Eddie, Der-rek, and Devin Frantum, Bobby and Mark Howard, and Garver, Ashley and Travis Cheesman. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, G. Lee Disharoon; and his paternal grandparents, Albert and Shirley Cheesman. A funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Pittsville Fire Department, where friends may call from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Pittsville Cemetery.
