Velma L. (Sackett) Kenyon, 57, of Harpursville, died Wednesday morning, morning, June 15, 1988 at Lourdes Hospital after an extended illness.
She was predeceased by her husband, Carlton L. Kenyon; two brothers, Charles Sackett Jr., and Floyd Sackett; and one sister, Delores Blake.
She is survived by two daughters , and sons-in-law, Debbi and David Kenyon, Binghamton, Carla Mills and Jeff Johnson, Harpursville; several grandchildren; one brother, Howard Sackett, Endicott; also several nieces and nephews. She was a retired employee of Control Concepts.
Funeral and committal services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. from the Sedlock Funeral Home, Inc., 161 Clinton St., with the Rev. Ernest Steffensen officiating. officiating. Burial will be in Chenango Valley Cemetery. The family will receive receive friends at the funeral home Friday Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
