Stewart E. Broome Jr. - MIDWAY - Stewart E. Broome Jr., 66, of Midway, Georgia passed away at his residence Saturday August 14, 2010. He was born in New London, CT He was a 1962 graduate of Benedictine Military School Stewart was a crane operator for Thunderbolt Marina for many years and went on to work and retired from TIC in April 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents Stewart E Broome Sr and Margaret E. Broome. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Linda Broome of Midway: Two Daughters Patricia Small (Kenny), Maryann Broome (Brandon & Jayden Broome) both of Midway: Son Stewart E Broome III (Melanie) of Levy, SC: Step Daughter Tara Troup Futch of Midway: Step Son John C Troup Jr. (Wendy) of PA: 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren: Brother Thomas Broome (Leeann) Sister Carol Mitchum (Bill) and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday 08/17/2010 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Fairhaven Funeral Home Memorial Services: Wednesday 08/18/2010 11:00 am at Fairhaven Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
