Leta J. Lindsey, age 80 of Gatlinburg, TN formerly of Cosby passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rueal and Trula Lindsey; sisters, Jean Baxter and Edith A. Phillips.
Her survivors include her son, Gary Baxter (Valerie) of Cosby; daughters, Patricia Baxter and Teresa J. Baxter of Gatlinburg; grandchildren, Jennifer (Ron) of Knoxville, Christy Wilson of Knoxville; great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Eli; sister, Roena Baxter (Whitey) of Newport;
A special thank you to friends Cathy Bettis, Bill and Melanie Proffitt and family. The family also extends a special thank you to Kim and Dee McCroskey for their loving support, care and compassion and for being there during our darkest hour.
The family will receive friends from 12-1 PM Saturday with funeral service to follow at 1 PM Rev. Kim McCroskey will officiate. Interment will follow in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens.
