Bonnie Jean Stephens, 79 passed away March 27, 2015 Friday at Lawrence Hall Nursing Center in Walnut Ridge. She was born March 6, 1936 in Ravenden, Arkansas to Eugene “Bug” and Mable Starling Stratton. She was a longtime resident of Lawrence County and a homemaker. She was a member of Main Street Church of Christ in Walnut Ridge.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Wanda Hufstedler, Patsy Byrd and Helen Safrit.

She is survived by her husband, Oliver Stephens, of the home; daughters, Nicki Black of Fredrick, Maryland, Pamela Lester of Pocahontas and Stephanie Rose of Black Rock; son, Oliver “Chuck” Stephens of Pocahontas; sisters, Anna Verkler of Cherokee Village, Rita Emerson of Jonesboro and Sherry Witt of Huntsville, Alabama; brothers, Ellis Stratton of Paragould and Dale
Stratton of Walnut Ridge; 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Graveside Memorial Services were privately held for family per Bonnies request.
