Mrs. Henry Heckley, 58, who resided 1-1/2 miles northwest of Tocsin, died at 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Wells County Hospital, where she had been a patient nine weeks.

The former Mary A. Souers, Mrs. Heckley was born Sept. 14, 1901, at Craigville to John and Anna Boughner Souers. Her marriage to Mr. Heckley took place Jan. 24, 1924.

Mrs. Heckley was a member of the Tocsin Evangelical United Brethren Church.

Surviving in addition to the husband are a son, Donald Gene Heckley of Ossian Route 2; three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Steffy of Huntington, Mrs. Harold Archbold of near Uniondale and Mrs. Homer Hoover of Ossian, and two grandchildren.
A son, a brother and a sister are deceased.

Friends may call at the Elzey Funeral Home at Ossian after 7 p.m. today until noon Friday, when the body will be taken to the Tocsin United Brethren Church to lie in state from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m., at the time of the service.

Rev. Fred Pfugh will officiate and burial will be in the Oaklawn Cemetery at Ossian.
