PNEUMONIA FATAL AFTER THREE DAYS
MRS. SABINA RIDLEN, WIDOW OF E.V. RIDLEN, DEAD AT FAIRLAND
(From Friday's Daily) Mrs. Sabina J. Ridlen, 73 year old, one of the highly esteemed aged women of Fairland, died at 11 o'clock last night at her home in that town. Death was caused by pneumonia and her illness lasted but three days. She was the widow of E.V. Ridlen, whose death occurred about six years ago, and she had been living alone for some time.
Mrs. Ridlen spent the greater part of her long and useful life near St. Paul and Greensburg, having been born in Decatur county on Oct. 22, 1844, and she has many relatives and friends in that county. She was a member of the M.E. church in Fairland.
The surviving relatives are two daughters, Mrs. Frank C. Harrell, of this city, and Mrs. Joseph Odell, living west of this city; one sister, Mrs. Laura Ayers, of St. Paul; two brothers, John Magee, of St. Paul, and George Magee, of Greensburg; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Ridlen had reared a nephew, E.V. Wilder, who was to them almost the same as (three blurry words) and have (two blurry words) Mrs. Ridlen.
Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock Sunday morning at the United Brethren Chapel, near St. Paul, the Rev. J. W. Trowbridge, of Fairland, officiating. Burial will be made in charge of Ralph *cant read* wards, undertaker.
