First child of McKinley Evans Stiers Sr and Nora Virgie Edwards Stiers. Born July 22 1921 in Ft Scott KS. First of 9 children. Preceded by brothers McKinley Jr, Richard Gene, Wallace, Wayne, Stephen. Sister Shirley. Survived by one brother and one sister.
In the early 40's a brief marriage to John Edwin Yardley of MO. Two children.
Second married Samuel Blatt in CA. He adopted her two boys and they had two more boys. They adopted a girl in 1953.
Samuel died in 1979. Widowed Eileen went to work at Star Concrete, retiring at age 90.
Preceded by son Ron in April 2010, daughter in law Diane in 2015, daughter Joyce Douglas and her husband Ray in 2018, son Mike in 2019.
