Mrs. Ethel Overstreet Beckner, age 91, of 412 N.C. Highway 150 West, formerly of Roanoke, died Friday, November 22, 1991.

She was the widow of Delbert O. Beckner Sr.

Mrs. Beckner was a retired saleswoman for John Norman and DeLong's Clothing in Roanoke. She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary in Roanoke and the Friendly Avenue Baptist Church in Greensboro, N.C.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Louise B. Chrismon, Greensboro, N.C.; two sons, Delbert O. Beckner Jr., Naples, Fla.; Lowell G. Beckner, Knoxville, Tenn.; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Vredda O. Dixon and Mrs. Reba O. Miller, both of Roanoke; one brother, Price W. Overstreet, Troutville.

Funeral services will be at Oakey's North Chapel 1:30 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Austin Lovin officiating. Interment will be in the Fair View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday at Oakey's North Chapel.
