Theresa attended Resurrection High School, graduating in the class of 1953. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Philosophy from Sienna Heights College as an Adrian Dominican sister , followed by a Bachelor of Education from Eastern Michigan University. She eventually left the convent and dedicated her life to teaching young minds, challenging students to think for themselves. Her love of teaching led her to earn a Master of Education from EMU.
She was a devoted volunteer for numerous charities, but the closest to her heart was her work for St. Vincent de Paul. She lived by the philosophy of caring for your fellow man and her life is a testament to her faith.
Theresa traveled extensively, all over the world, and made many friends, but her closest friend was Jesus Christ, her Lord and Saviour.
