Julia Ann Rawls Rish, 82, widow of Charles Delano Rish, Sr., passed away December 24, 2019 at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. She was born in Pleasant Hill, SC on May 25, 1937 to the late James Benjamin Rawls and the late Lottie Marie Jones Rawls.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at 2PM at Lakewood Baptist Church. Interment in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens will immediately follow the service.

Mrs. Rish was a Pleasant Hill High School graduate and a longtime member of Lakewood Baptist Church. She attended the Lottie Moon Sunday School Class and retired from Nash Oil Company. Mrs. Rish was an avid reader and a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving are her daughter, Robin Howard (Frankie); her son, Charles Rish (Daphne James) both of Georgetown; grandchildren, Michelle Blythe (Todd) of Georgetown, Kelsey Hetrick of Houston, Tx, Delano Howard of Georgetown, James and Bevan Carr of Georgetown; two great grandchildren, Stormy Blythe and Sierra Blythe, both of Georgetown; two sisters Jonnie V. Uecker of Illinois and Willa Dean Campbell and her husband Richard of Summerville.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Steve Rish; two sisters, Jacquelyn Avant and Beatrice Ray; and two brothers, Cegial Rawls and James B. Rawls Jr.
