Ruth Bolinger Whitener, 63, died at her home in New Castle, Saturday, February 23, 1985.
Mrs. Whitener was born in Indiana. She lived in Indiana and in Florida most of her life, and had lived in New Castle since 1976.
She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
Survivors include a daughter, Janet Harper; a sister, Rosemary (Mrs. Harold) Reece; five brothers, Leo, Virgil, Eugene, Herschel and Max Bolinger; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services were at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 28, 1985 in Macer-Hall-Pasco Funeral Home. Burial was in South Mound Cemetery.
