Americo, Sr was born in Supino, Frasinone Italy Jan. 24, 1939, son of the late Angelo and Amelia Fiolo Arduini, and has been a resident of Woodbridge since 1979. He was the owner and operator of the former Forum in the Chapel Square Mall in New Haven, and later in East Haven. He was a tailor by trade, and worked at Sylvan Cleaners in New Haven, and ended his career at Ted's Cleaners in Woodbridge. He was an avid gardener, loved to play his accordion and was a member of the Son's of Italy in Derby for many years.
He is the beloved father of Angelo Arduini of Woodbridge, and the late Americo Arduini, Jr.
He is the loving brother of Alberto Arduini, Antonio Arduini, Eleanora Boni, Maria Angelina Carnale, and the late Emilio and Franco Arduini. He is the cherished grandfather of Serena Arduini, and also leaves many nieces and nephews.
He always took great pride in his Italian heritage, his family, home and business, and always warmly welcomed family, friends and guests to his home.
