R. J. Ball, age 62, of Parrottsville, passed away, Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center, Mountain Home, TN.
He is a retired Maintenance Engineer, and also retired from the Tennessee National Guard after over 20 years of service. He received his GED with certification Refrigeration & Air Conditioning from Morristown Technical School.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Delilah Ball; sisters, Ida Messer, Irolla Pack and brother, T. D. Ball.
He is survived by his wife Judy Laws Ball and his two children, Brandi Lane and husband Jason; and Lt. Col. Richard Ball and his wife, Leigh; grandchildren, Teagan Ottinger, Alexander Ball and Dominic Lane; brothers and sisters, Betty Lou Ellis, Nova Muse and husband Carroll, Danny Ball and his late wife Kathy, Bob Ball and his wife Hazel, Roy Ball and his wife Sandra, and Denver Ball and his wife Karen; also several niece, nephews and many other family and friends.
Burial will follow in Parrottsville Memorial Cemetery.
