Charles Edwin Gray 72, of Mannsville, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at his home in Mannsville. He was born on November 26, 1944 in Willis, Oklahoma to the late Ollie “Bud” Gray and Lela Cryer Gray.

Charles was raised in the Russett and Mannsville area and graduated from Mannsville High School in 1963. He married Geraldine Barnes on March 28, 1964 in Willis. Charles moved to Oklahoma City for a short time where he worked for Skill Power Tools and Perkins Fire Protection.

In 1969 he moved back to Mannsville and in 1978 he bought the DX Station where he worked as a mechanic. After selling the station he farmed and ranched. Charles was a member of the First Baptist Church and he enjoyed stock car racing, hunting and watching sports.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers; Ollie Ray, Carl “Dunt”, Tommy Gene and Dan, 1 sister; Leoma McClung.
