Anita is joined in Heaven by her beloved husband and dance partner of 70 years, Fred, her loving parents Anthony and Maria, her dear brother James and her sister Margaret. Anita's legacy of joy and love is survived by cherished children Kathy (Ben), Karen (Don), Kevin, and Kerry a.k.a. "Chrissy" (Ken); her precious grandchildren, September, Melanie (Mike), Kelly (Dana), Timothy (Stephanie), Harrison, Kyle and Kristopher; and adored great-grandchildren Anna, Olivia, Gwendolyn, Ophelia, Alyssa, Ryan, Tyler, and Aubrey; and dearest sister Dolores (Walter) and her family. Anita's family invites you to celebrate her life at Commack Abbey Inc., 96 Commack Road, Commack, NY 11725 with reposing on Sunday, December 22, 2019 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm, with a religious service that evening at 8pm. Please also join us for a funeral service on Monday at 9am, with an internment at Calverton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
